Quick answer: Open the assistant from the round button in the bottom right corner of your Eduqat Dashboard, click + New chat, and say what you want in plain language. It manages courses, sessions, materials, enrollments, attendance, assignments, memberships, coupons, orders, users, and more. Anything it creates lands in your school as a Draft for you to review.
What the AI School Assistant is
The AI School Assistant is a chat panel that sits on top of your Eduqat Dashboard. The panel header reads School Assistant with Online underneath it.
Ask it what it can do and it introduces itself as a virtual school assistant that helps manage courses, enrollments, materials, and related tasks. It is not only a question and answer bot. It carries out the work in your school, and it stays on school topics.
It also replies in the language you write in. Ask in Indonesian and the answer comes back in Indonesian.
What it can do
This is the assistant's own answer when you ask what it is capable of. Ask it the same question at any time to see its current scope.
Area | What it handles |
Courses | Create, view, update, publish, delete, and duplicate courses |
Course sessions | Create, view, update, delete, and reorder the sessions inside a course |
Course materials | Create, view, update, delete, and reorder the materials inside a session, and help design the material |
Enrollments | Enroll or unenroll users from a course, and view enrollment details |
Attendance | Record and view learner attendance |
Assignments | View and grade submitted assignments |
Memberships | Create, view, and update membership products, meaning your subscription tiers |
Coupons | Create, view, and update discount coupons |
Orders | View the order list and the details of an order |

Surveys and certificates | View the survey and certificate lists |
Course categories | Create and view course categories |
Curriculum planning | Draft a curriculum with objectives and sessions, based on the topic, the audience, and how many sessions you want |
Anything outside that list, it says so rather than guessing.
Before you begin
You need access to the Eduqat Dashboard as an admin or educator.
Know the exact title of whatever you want it to work on, usually a course. It asks before it creates anything, so having the title ready saves a round trip.
Step 1: Open the assistant
In your Eduqat Dashboard, click the round button with the sparkle icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
The panel opens over whatever page you are on, so you do not have to leave the page you were working on.
Step 2: Start a new chat
The panel has two tabs, Chat and History.
History lists your earlier conversations.
At the top of that list is + New chat. Click it to start a fresh conversation.
Starting a new chat does not delete the old ones. They stay in History.
Step 3: Say what you want
The Chat tab opens with How can I help? and the line "Ask me to list courses, create a course, review enrollments, and more."
Type into the Message the assistant... field at the bottom, then send it with the send button next to the field.
Write it the way you would say it to a colleague. Enroll Budi in Basic English, show me who was absent last week, make a discount coupon for 20 percent, or plan a four session curriculum on food safety for new kitchen staff are all normal requests.
If you are not sure where to start, ask it what it can do and pick from its answer.
Step 4: Give it the details it asks for
The assistant does not guess. If your request is missing something it needs, it asks for it rather than inventing an answer. It will not create material, for example, until you tell it which course the material belongs to.
Answer it and it continues. This is the step that decides where the work lands, so check what you send.
Step 5: Check what it did
The assistant reports each action as it goes, then closes with a confirmation naming what it created and where it put it.
Read that confirmation before you move on. It is the fastest way to catch a request that went to the wrong place.
Step 6: Open what it worked on
Go to Product, open the product type that holds the course, for example Self-Paced, find the course, and click Edit Courses.
On the Curriculum tab you will see the new material in the session the assistant named.
Step 7: Check the Draft status
New material carries a Draft label.
This matters. What the assistant creates is not live for learners until you publish it. Treat the output as a first draft that still needs your review.
Step 8: Review and edit what it generated
Click the material to open it. It opens in the normal Eduqat editor for that material type, so there is nothing new to learn.
A generated survey, for example, opens in the survey lesson editor with the survey already selected.
From there you can open the content itself and change it. In a survey, View survey opens the Survey/Quiz Designer, where any question can be edited, reordered, or deleted before learners see it.
Save when you are done.
Step 9: Return to an earlier conversation
Open the assistant again and switch to the History tab. Click any row to reopen that conversation and carry on from where you stopped.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
The assistant says it cannot help with my question | The request falls outside what it has tools for | It tells you directly. Rephrase it as one of the tasks in the table above, or ask it what it can do and pick from its answer |
It keeps asking me for details | The request did not name the course, the user, or the item it needs | Reply with the exact title or ID. The assistant will not pick one for you |
Learners cannot see the material it created | New material is created as Draft | Open the course, go to Curriculum, and publish the material yourself |
The work landed in the wrong place | The assistant used the title you gave it in Step 4 | Check the confirmation message, then open the correct course and ask again with the exact title |
I cannot find a conversation from yesterday | New chats do not replace old ones | Open the assistant and switch to the History tab |
What it generated is not what I wanted | The content is generated from your request alone | Open the material in its normal editor and change it. Nothing it creates is locked |
I do not know what to ask for | The scope is wider than most people expect | Ask it what it can do. It replies with its full list, covering courses, enrollments, attendance, assignments, memberships, coupons, orders, users, and more |
