What is the Drip Feature on Eduqat?

The drip feature on Eduqat is a tool that enables you to control when learners can access each material in your course. You can set up a schedule for releasing your materials, such as assignments, quizzes, handbooks, etc., based on different criteria, such as the date of enrollment, the completion of previous materials, or a specific number of days or hours.

By using the drip feature, you can create a sense of anticipation and urgency among your learners, as well as prevent them from feeling overwhelmed by too much content at once. You can also encourage them to revisit your course regularly and complete it within a reasonable time frame.

The drip feature is available for Eduqat Pro and above users. It can help you increase your course completion rates, retention rates, and learner satisfaction.

How to Use the Drip Feature on Eduqat?

To use the drip feature on Eduqat, you need to follow these steps:

Step 1. Create your course and add lesson materials

Before you can use the drip feature, you need to create your course and add lesson materials. You can do this by using the Course Builder tool on Eduqat. You can add various types of materials, such as videos, audios, texts, images, PDFs, assignments, quizzes, and more.

Step 2: Go to Course Builder > Curriculum Section > Add Drip

After you have created your course and added lesson materials, you can go to the Curriculum Section of the Course Builder and click on the Add Drip button. This will open a window where you can configure the drip settings for each material.

Step 3: Choose a material release time for each material

The material release time is the time when the material becomes available for the learners to access. You can choose from four options:

  • Immediately: The material is available as soon as the learner enrolls in the course or meets the release condition.

  • Next day: The material is available the next day after the learner enrolls in the course or meets the release condition.

  • Day(s): The material is available after a certain number of days after the learner enrolls in the course or meets the release condition. You can specify the number of days in the input box.

  • Hour(s): The material is available after a certain number of hours after the learner enrolls in the course or meets the release condition. You can specify the number of hours in the input box.

You can choose a different material release time for each material in your course.

Step 4: Choose a release condition for each material

The release condition is the criterion that the learner has to meet before the material becomes available. You can choose from two options:

  • After enrollment: The material is available after the learner enrolls in the course. The material release time is calculated from the date of enrollment.

  • Complete previous material: The material is available after the learner completes the previous material in the course. The material release time is calculated from the date of completion.

You can choose a different release condition for each material in your course.

Step 5: Save the drip settings

After you have configured the drip settings for each material, you can save them by clicking on the Save button. Your drip settings will be applied to your course and your learners will see them on their course dashboard.
