Xendit Payment Options and How to Activate Them

Looking to expand your payment options and reach new customers? Xendit offers a wide range of payment methods to suit your business needs in Indonesia. This guide will walk you through the available options and how to activate them on your Xendit account.

Xendit Payment Options:

  • E-wallets: Gopay, LinkAja, ShopeePay, JeniusPay, and more!

  • QR Code: Accept payments through any QR code app supported by the Xendit network.

  • Virtual Accounts: Offer secure and convenient online payments with virtual accounts from BCA, BNI, BRI, Mandiri, and others.

  • Over-the-counter: Allow customers to pay in cash at Indomaret and Alfamart locations.

  • Credit Card: Accept major credit cards for seamless online transactions.

  • Direct Debit: Enable recurring payments directly from your customer's bank account (availability subject to approval).

Activating Your Payment Methods

Getting Started:

Before activating any payment methods, ensure you have a Xendit account and have completed the KYC (Know Your Customer) process. This helps ensure secure transactions for both you and your customers.

E-wallets:

  1. Sign up for a Xendit account and complete KYC.

  2. Log in to your Xendit dashboard and navigate to the "Payment Methods" section.

  3. Activate the desired e-wallets (AstraPay & Shopee Pay Later require contacting your account manager).

  4. Submit your activation form. You'll receive a response within 5 business days.

  5. Once approved, you can start accepting e-wallet payments through API requests.

QR Code:

  1. Sign up for a Xendit account and complete KYC.

  2. Log in to your dashboard and activate "QR Codes."

  3. Xendit will help you register with a QR partner within 7 business days.

  4. Upon approval, you can generate live QR codes for customer payments via API requests.

Virtual Account:

Virtual accounts are automatically activated after successful KYC completion.

Over-the-counter (Indonesia):

  1. Sign up for a Xendit account and complete KYC.

  2. Visit the onboarding page for required documents.

  3. Complete your settlement bank account details.

  4. Simulate creating and paying for a Retail Outlet transaction in test mode.

  5. In your dashboard settings, activate the desired retail outlet channel(s).

  6. Congratulations! You can now accept payments at Indomaret and Alfamart.

Credit Card:

  1. Sign up for a Xendit account and complete KYC.

  2. Activate your account by providing business details for KYC checks.

  3. An Account Manager will contact you for service agreements.

  4. Upon agreement execution, you can start accepting credit card payments.

Direct Debit:

  1. Contact Xendit customer support ([email protected] for Indonesia, [email protected] for Philippines) or your Account Manager to request activation.

  2. Xendit will forward your request to the relevant banks for review.

  3. While waiting for approval, proceed with integration and testing using Xendit's guide.

  4. You'll be notified via email once Direct Debit is activated on your account.
