When a school admin wants to add you as an educator on Eduqat, they will send you an invitation by email. This invitation gives you access to your school's dashboard, where you can create courses, manage learners, and shape the learning experience for your students. Accepting the invitation is the first step in becoming an educator. You only need to do it once.

How to set up your educator account on Eduqat?

To set up your educator account on Eduqat, you need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Check your email for the invitation

Open the inbox of the email address you gave to your school admin. Look for an email titled "Invitation to be an Educator at [Your School Name]". The sender is Eduqat.

If you don't see it in your inbox, check your Spam or Promotions folder. The invitation can sometimes land there. If you still can't find it, contact your school admin and ask them to resend the invitation.

Step 2: Accept the invitation

Open the invitation email and click the Accept Invitation button inside the email. This will open a new tab in your browser and bring you to the Eduqat registration page.

Step 3: Create your account

On the registration page, you will be asked to fill in some basic information:

  1. Enter your name in the Name field.

  2. Choose a password and enter it in the Password field. Pick something secure but easy for you to remember.

  3. Click the Create Account button.

Step 4: Verify your email with an OTP code

After clicking Create Account, Eduqat will send a One-Time Password (OTP) code to your email address. This is to make sure your email is valid and secure.

To complete the verification, follow these steps:

  1. Open your email inbox and look for the email containing the OTP code.

  2. Copy the code, or note down the digits.

  3. Go back to the Eduqat page and click the Enter OTP Code button.

  4. Paste or type the code into the field, then submit it.

If the code is correct, your account will be activated and you'll be automatically signed in.

Note: OTP codes are time-sensitive. If the code expires before you use it, simply request a new one by clicking the Resend option.

Step 5: Explore your school dashboard

Once you are signed in, you'll land on your school dashboard. This is your home base as an educator. From here, you can manage courses, view learners, and check your school's settings. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the layout before moving on.

FAQs

I didn't receive my invitation email. What should I do?

First, check your Spam, Promotions, or Junk folders. If the invitation still isn't there, contact your school admin and ask them to resend it. Also confirm that the email address they used is the one you actively check.

The OTP code I received doesn't work. What should I do?

OTP codes expire after a short time for security reasons. Click the Resend OTP option on the verification page to get a new code, then enter the new one. If you've requested multiple codes, always use the most recent one.

I closed the registration page before finishing. Can I still use my invitation?

Yes. You can reopen the invitation email and click Accept Invitation again. You will be brought back to the registration page where you can complete your sign up.

I signed up but didn't verify my email. Can I still log in?

Partially. When you try to log in, Eduqat will prompt you to enter an OTP code, with a Resend OTP option. After entering a valid OTP, you will be signed in. If you need help, your school admin can also manually verify your email for you.

Can I change the password I set during registration?

Yes. You can update your password from your account settings after you log in. You can also use the Forgot Password flow on the login page if you ever forget it.
